Now for the frequently asked questions:
Q: Where are the site rules?
A: They can be found at this URL, http://animespeak.forumwise.com/animespeak-thread4.html or by clicking the [rules] tab under forum news
Q: What is a sig, or a signature?
A: You signature (AKA sig) is the small image under each post you make. It can contain images if you use the right code for it.
Q: How do I edit my signature?
A: You edit your signature by going to the top of your page under the banner and under the FAQ llink and click Profile then under the menu under you click Edit Signature. You can add images to it by clicking the button labeled IMG and entering the images’ url.
Q: What is an admin, or an administrator?
A: The site admin is the person who made the forums, Rob is the man in charge of the site.
Q: What is a mod, or a moderator?
A: A moderator is someone else chosen by Rob for the purpose of enforcing the rules as he can’t do it all by himself. They can’t do as much as him but can edit other member’s posts, signatures, and avatars.
Q: How do I become a moderator?
A: If Rob decides that the site needs another moderator then he will post it in the admid and mod discussion area, which is hidden from the members, and ask which member would be the best moderator. Rob will then ask the member and the process will go on from there. There are however some specific things Rob looks for specifically are.......
1. Are You On The Forum Every Day or Almost Every Day?
2. Do You Post Sensible, Long Enough, and Spelled Right sentences.
3. Do you follow the rules?
If you can answer yes to those questions, then you are under consideration for becoming a MOD.
Q: Why above my avatar does is it different then other members?
A: The title above your avatar, known at the user title, changes based on the number of posts you has. It is also different for the admin and the moderators.
Q: Why do you(moderator) keep picking on me!?!?
A: We aren’t. If you break the rules more then once we will resort to sometimes different and worse punishment then just saying stop it. If you claim that we are only picking on you then look at the number of times you have broken the rules, it doesn’t matter how many posts you have or how long you’ve been on the site. All that matters is that you broke the rules |
